Gangtok has an amazing view of mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain peak in the world. Also like everything around it, Gangtok is abundant in natural beauty and has various natural attractions such as the Tsomgo Lake, Ban Jhakri falls, Tashi viewpoint and more.
Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures and a gold-plated statue of Guru Padsambhava. Overlooking a valley, the 17th-century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins, still has evidence of the king’s bedroom and kitchen.
Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.
Meeting & Greeting on arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.) Queen of the Hills. On arrival check in to hotel Overnight stay at Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning at 4:00 am drive to Tiger hill to watch the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs) & Afternoon transfer to Pelling (6,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing (Starts 8:30 AM - 4: 30 PM) visit Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls &Khecheopalri Lake. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Palace Ruins through Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Gangtok (5,410 ft.), Capital of Sikkim Via Namchi covering Char Dham &Samdruptse Monastery. On arrival check in to hotel. Free evening. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast start for an excursion to Changu Lake (12,312 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city each way (Starts 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft.) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Mon, Tue) for Indian Nationals only at an additional cost & documents required 7 days prior to departure for Nathula pass. Please note Nathula Pass permits are issued on the day of travel only as per availability and clubbed with other group, once the permit is issued the amount will be non refundable.
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey, Tour ends.
